Ari Kaplan is the Head of Lakehouse Evangelism at Databricks. Prior to Databricks, Ari has held other global AI evangelism roles, and was President of the Worldwide Oracle Users Group. He has hosted podcasts with guests ranging from Bill Nye “the science guy” to General David Petraeus. He works hands-on with dozens of large accounts, helping them realize the value of data and AI. Ari was named Caltech’s “Alumni of the Decade”, Sports Illustrated’s “Top Ten GM Candidate”, and IBM’s “Data Science Celebrity”, and the History Channel made a documentary on one of Kaplan’s analytical investigations.
