Elena is a Global Head of Digital CE & Insights with Roche. She is a transformational executive with diverse experience leading global enterprise digital and data strategy, technology platforms, change management and operations. She has a consistent record of positioning organizations for success, delivering digital innovations powered by data and ensuring memorable customer experiences.
Prior to Roche, Elena held roles with increasing leadership responsibilities at NewsCorp, GSK, Johnson & Johnson and Danone in both B2C and B2B business models, with a strong international bias having worked in multiple countries.
Early in her career, she served as the multichannel customer engagement leader for GSK Pharma and as a digital product leader with NewsCorp leading the transformation and modernization of the customer-facing capabilities, including products, channels, content, data, customer services and go to market business models.
Elena holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Academy of National Economy and M.S. in Software Engineering from the National Research University of Electronic Technology. She completed the Executive Education program from The Wharton Business School and CDO certification program with MIT/iCDO.
Elena published 40+ articles and she is a recognized thought-leader in the areas of Big Data, customer experience, AI, and data-driven business innovation. She is a long term supporter of iCDO community and the teaching instructure with the first CDO class offering in the world.
