Enterprise changemakers are leaders with mission, purpose, and tenacity – the willingness to keep trying over and over – “there is no manual for ground realities.” Changemakers have many qualities and can take on many roles: inventor, investor, influencer, business and social architect. CIO Jamie Holcombe will discuss his experiences with changemaking at the USPTO, its leadership mindset, partnership strategies with CAOs and CDOS to effect organizational change, and how changemaking requires teams of people, strong institutions, and support to create opportunities among disparate groups, generating solutions that create and sustain momentum throughout the organization.
