Session 17-B

"The Rise of 'Tweener' Roles in Data Science"

← Back to Agenda

Gaps “between” data scientists and other departments often stymie the data science efforts. We use the term ‘tweeners’ as a catchall for roles such as “data product managers and data translators, which bridge these gaps. This talk describes why tweener roles will become increasingly important, discuss difficulties that managing them presents, and explore implications for Chief Data Officers.
