Dr. Prashanth H Southekal is the Managing Principal of DBP-Institute, a Data Analytics Consulting and Education company. He brings over 25 years of Information Management experience from companies such as SAP, Shell, Apple, P&G, and General Electric. Apart from his consulting pursuits, he is a Strategic Analytics Advisor at Evalueserve (US) and Grihasoft (India). He is the author of 2 books – Data for Business Performance and Analytics Best Practices. Dr. Southekal an Adjunct Professor of Data Analytics at IE Business School (Spain) and has trained over 2500 professionals in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, R Programming, EPM, and Data Products. Dr. Southekal has a Ph.D. in Technology Management from ESC Lille (FR) and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management (USA). He lives in Calgary, Canada with his wife, two children, & a high-energy Goldendoodle dog. Outside work, he loves juggling & cricket.
