Vijay Akella is the Chief Data Officer at U.S. Bank. His responsibilities include driving the data strategy, data platform & data products, and data engineering for the bank. He has over 25 years of practitioner experience in data management and technology, primarily in large global financial services organizations. Vijay has been responsible for establishing data strategies that align with an organizations strategic plan and helping to operationalize those strategies to achieve desired outcomes. As part of this work, Vijay has led data governance and the development of technical platforms to support these efforts.
