Damon is the founder and leader of Microsoft’s internal Enterprise Data Governance program. He and his global team run all of Microsoft’s Data Governance policies, standards, controls, and internal Data Governance technical implementations. As the first and best user of Microsoft Purview (Microsoft’s own Data Governance solution), Damon’s team also runs one of the largest Microsoft Purview implementations in the world. Damon has been with Microsoft for over 25 years and has carried leadership roles in many of Microsoft’s enterprise-wide Data Programs, including several MDM program rollouts, Big Data Platform rollout, Power BI rollout, the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and GDPR compliance. Prior to Microsoft, Damon was a senior manager at Accenture working in the Electronics and High-Tech practice area. Damon is a graduate of the University of Washington, Foster School of Business.
