Eileen Vidrine, Chief Data & AI Officer, Department of the Air Force
Eileen is currently serving as the Department of the Air Force’s Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer where she leads data & AI innovation for a military Department with two services, US Air Force and US Space Force with a vision to empower and posture the Department to harness data and AI capabilities for competitive advantage. Prior to this assignment, she was hand-selected to serve as the first Senior Strategic Advisor for Data to the Federal CIO. Under her leadership, her team created the innovation award winning VAULT data platform, a self-service multi-tenancy cross domain platform that supports thousands of airmen and guardian daily. Other key initiatives include establishing data innovation lab, the Innovation Connect webinar series and a datathon competition series in partnership with the MIT AI accelerator. In December 2021, she was named CDO Club’s US Chief Data Officer for 2021. Eileen began her leadership journey as an enlisted soldier and was commissioned through the US Army Officer Candidate School. She returned to federal service as civilian in 2002 serving the Intelligence Community Defense Intelligence Agency, Office of the Director of National Intelligence and Office of the Secretary of Defense for Intelligence.
