Many organizations are shoring up their ESG programs with a current emphasis on the low-hanging fruit on environmental, social and ethical practices. However a less known talked about ESG practice is currently mainstream in many organizations- and that is data retention. The technology infrastructure and energy levels to sustain existing data storage far surpasses the carbon footprint in the airline industry. This session will focus on the data footprint of global organizations today and how understanding data duplications and data retention policies can be a quick and easy win for ESG today.
