Survival Guide for Data and AI Ethics: How to Protect Your Organization and Where to Start

← Back to Agenda

Organizations are becoming increasingly data-driven, often using AI applications to process information and make decisions, without weighing the ethical considerations that should underpin all data driven initiatives. Organizations must move fast with data and AI to compete and survive in the market, but still take precautions to protect themselves and society from potentially harmful use. This presentation will look at use cases within both the commercial and government sectors when leaders got it wrong and faced negative consequences for not applying data and AI ethical principles. We will then dive into a simple survival guide to begin integrating ethics into the organization data and AI practices.
