Joseph Sommer is a Managing Director in the Data and Analytics practice of EY Financial Services Office (FSO). Joe has 30 years of financial industry and consulting experience. Joe specializes in data valuation, data commercialization, and consulting solutions which increase data value.  He works with CDOs, CFOs and business leaders to adopt leading data management practices and enable insights.  Joe supports EY’s alliance with Snowflake, its participation in the Enterprise Data Management Council (EDMC), and its relationships with data technology suppliers.  Joe teaches a graduate level course in “Data Science for Business” at CUNY Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys skiing, hockey, and golf with his friends and family.
