This panel discussion from a Federal perspective will share knowledge for data leaders relevant to those in both public and private sectors. We will share how Treasury leveraged Public Law 115 – 435 – Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2018 (Evidence Act) and the Federal Data Strategy (FDS) to hone data leadership practices and build a data-driven culture. Our speakers are Chief Data Officers and representatives of data and analytics leadership at the Department of Treasury, the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Topics for discussion include: Data Strategy, Data Literacy, Analytics Competency, Data Inventory, Data Catalog, Data & Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Sharing. There will also be an opportunity for audience questions to allow maximum learning from our data leaders.
